I had the honor of photographing Tony, one of my best friends getting married just before Christmas in The Honan chapel, UCC and The Imperial hotel. There’s always a festive atmosphere at this time of year and as special wedding make it magical.

I really enjoy capturing the bride and groom-to-be getting ready in their houses. It’s less formulaic than photographing the wedding ceremony and it’s special for the couple to have memories of getting ready. The morning is stressful & a rush for them but sprinkled with scenes of joy and excitement.

The weather on the day of their wedding was very ‘unhelpful’. It poured just as the bride was about to leave her house for the beautiful Honan chapel in UCC. Once inside the Honan chapel though everything ran smoothly and the Christmas decorations in the Imperial hotel made the reception extra magical. As you can see from the photos it was all smiles from everyone. Congratulations to the newly married couple!
